seven swans a swimming

so today was alright i suppose. bad at times with crazy unkind customers, but then better at others.

work was a typical saturday for the most part, busy, and bothersome. i was glad when it was over.

then my friend adam branham and i went to get his surprise christmas present (which is late, but there is good reason). we drove to petsmart (where we remained for 2 hours) and got 3 fish. then took them to his place so we could put them in their new home. he has the biggest tank i have ever seen in person outside of an aquarium. it was crazy. we had a good time though, and his dog Buddy was very happy to see me again.

i was thinking the other day about my buddy lindsey grefseng. when i lived in the neighborhood that's behind wal*mart, we used to have our own little 2 acre pond. there were two swans when we lived there, but one died. i felt so bad for the other one. he seemed so lonely. so i would go out and sit with him for a little while every day. eventually, i could pet him, and he would eat corn from my hands. anyway, he decided i guess that i was his new mate. because he defended me from many of my friends and most everyone else that was around (except for granny of course). well one time lindsey was the victim. he decided for whatever reason that she was a threat to me. don't worry, she got away, but i used to kid her and say that one day i would end up with seven swans... today, i have seven swans. of course, they belong to everyone who lives here along the little lake i am currently living next to, but there is indeed a little group of seven. :)
